How do you describe a Confident yet Humble, well Respected, Inspirationally-Sound, Determined, Respected, Articulate and Faithful, modern-day Titan? One name that stands out in the crowd is Chris Draft, former NFL Linebacker and Founder of the Chris Draft Family Foundation (CDFF). With all the uncertainty still fumbling around between the players and team owners regarding the NFL Lockout – the CDFF is scoring major touchdowns off the field.

From recently joining President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House for the Easter Egg Roll, encouraging families from all 50 states to get focused on getting healthy, being welcomed by fathers and their children with NFL Tight End, Randy McMichael at Harmony Leland Elementary for the last “All Pro Dad’s Breakfast” of the school year, kicking off Asthma Awareness Month, jet setting to Shape Up Missouri event that included a smorgasbord of food, fitness and participation from the St. Louis Blues, St Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams – the CDFF is in it to win it by being a positive force in the community.

The Chris Draft Family Foundation focuses on seven primary initiatives with overarching themes that stress the importance of education, healthy lifestyles, character development, personal responsibility, self-discipline and physical fitness.  The Foundation seeks partnerships with local and national community health organizations, school districts and non-profits across the country, striving to empower and uplift communities by educating and equipping families to make healthier choices.

The foundation’s Publicist, Lakeitha Y. Anderson said, “I’ve had the privilege of working with a number of professional athletes during the course of my career. But until meeting Mr. Draft, I had not met a more compassionate, sincere and influential humanitarian. He’s not just the face of his foundation; he really puts in the work to make enrich the lives of families in our community.”
