Former NBA Player Arrested at the Airport at Gunpoint

Legal trouble continues for Former NBA player Darius Miles. The 29-year-old was arrested at Lambert St. Louis International Airport for trying to bring a loaded gun onto a flight. Transportation Security Administration workers discovered the gun in X-ray screening Wednesday afternoon.

It was reported that Miles was booked into the St. Louis County jail in Clayton around 8:30 p.m. for unlawful use of a weapon. He was released around 9:15 p.m. without a bond.

Miles is a native of East St. Louis,Illinois. He was picked No. 3 out of East St. Louis High School in the 2000 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. He last played in 2009 for Memphis.

In that same year, Miles was arrested in Fairview Heights,Ill., for possessing marijuana and he completed court-ordered drug education.
