NFL Hall of Fame inductee Jerry Rice will become an analyst for ESPN. The 11-time All-Pro Bowl selection and three-time Superbowl champion will make appearances on shows such as “Sportscenter” and “NFL Live.”

The former wide receiver standout did not waste anytime talking about football and, specifically, a guy who played the same position as him, Randy Moss. Rice says that he was not as gifted a player as Moss and believes that Randy could have been one of the best receivers in NFL history if he only had the proper work ethic.

“He could have been one of the greatest if he had worked just a little bit harder. I don’t think he wanted to give it 100 percent. You never know what you were going to get with Randy. Sometimes you get the unbelievable guy, the amazing guy. Other times you’d get the guy that took a couple of plays off.”

Randy Moss, a 4-time All-Pro Bowl selection played 13 seasons in the NFL. In 2007, he set a NFL single season record with 23 touchdown receptions. Moss retired last year.
